The PortForward consortium team came together one last time for the 8th Project Management Meeting in Athens, Greece on Mai 4th – 5th, 2022.
Owing to the COVID-19 and its related restrictions the meeting took place as a hybrid event combining a “live” in-person participation with a “virtual” online one.
The main goal of the meeting consisted of planning of remaining deliverables, reviewing the status of the Use Cases, discussing of exploitation approaches as well as discussing the final demonstration of the project.
On day 1 the consortium focused mainly on going through the the status of open project deliverables. The meeting offered a great opportunity to coordinate the to-dos, required inputs and adjust the time planning for all open deliverables. For some deliverables the quality checks were discussed. Furthermore, the status of the individual Use Cases was reviewed.
On day 2 the focus lay on the discussion of the exploitation, dissemination and communication issues and planning of the final demonstration meeting including the agenda, invitations and presentation of the Use Cases. The partners discussed individual exploitation strategies for the corresponding project developments. Furthermore, the discussion focused on the potential exploitation of the overall PortForward Platform and approaches for a strategic partnership beyond the project for follow-up-activities.
The program was rounded off by a tour of the Acropolis as well as a joint dinner kindly organized by the hosting project partner CORE.
